I am following your struggle from here in Perth. What troubles me is the lack of interest shown by the Australian Government and media. That said, I had correspondence with a senior SBS reporter a few minutes ago to say the issue of entry to WP had been raised by Australian journalists at a recent meeting with Indonesian Ministers in Jakarta. She said: “Delegation of journos on Jakarta visit asked that it be considered a formal request to lift ban on Aust media in WPapua.” I have also tried seeing if there any groups active in Perth, but couldn’t find any.
